YOUR LEADERSHIP STORY:
A TRANSFORMATIONAL GROWTH EXPERIENCE

The opportunities to act as a leader are endless.

You can be a leader in your household as a mother, father, big sister or brother.

You can be a soccer coach to children in your community.

You can lead a team or organization at work.

You can lead an extracurricular club or hobby group.

Often, we are thrust into these roles with no training. As a leadership coach, I have seen far too many times someone appointed to a new leadership role without preparation. No guidance to tell them how to show up and shepherd people.

The first step to gain the skills and capabilities to lead others starts with learning how to lead yourself. That’s why I am passionate about helping people grow individually so that they can grow as leaders. I help people grow to grow leaders.

Together, we embark on a 6-week course to ask the challenging questions, unearth unique narratives, establish compelling visions, set meaningful goals, create systems of accountability, and realize our fullest potentials.

Going inward with self-discovery,

you'll uncover what no personality and behavior test can -- your narrative that has shaped your guiding truths. And, from it we will create your leadership identity.

  • We set the stage for our leadership journey by introducing ourselves and reflecting on moments that have shaped our identities. I challenge participants to ask a pivotal question: Who am I beyond my titles and roles? This week is about uncovering the deeper layers of who we are and beginning to redefine our leadership identity from within.

  • We explore the power of stories and how they shape our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Together, we discuss where we encounter stories in our everyday lives and examine how they guide our decisions and growth.

  • We delve into the pivotal stories within our timelines, focusing on the transformative power of redemption stories. We explore how self-authoring redemption narratives can bring healing and meaning to our most challenging experiences. We discuss how these stories can reshape our perspective and empower us to move forward. Participants are challenged to reflect on their own moments of darkness and uncover the potential for healing and growth within them.

  • We come together as a cohort to reflect on how our timelines have evolved after exploring the three key types of stories. We take a deeper dive into participants’ purpose and redemption stories, examining the healing and insights they’ve uncovered. Through discussions on the psychological concepts of self-concept and self-authorship, we explore how intentional reflection on our beliefs, values, and identity helps us build a strong internal foundation of our own identity.

  • Participants engage in a deeply personal and transformative experience by sharing their "Who Am I" essays. These essays are an attempt to define their identity, values, and beliefs beyond the roles or titles they hold. Through this intimate sharing, participants gain clarity, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose, resonating with the deeper truths that shape their leadership identity.

  • We close the course with a powerful reflection and vision-casting exercise designed to help participants chart their path ahead. Starting with a clear vision of their distant future, we work backward to assess where they are now, creating a roadmap to bridge the gap between their present and their aspirations. Finally, we come together as a cohort to reflect on key takeaways from the course, ensuring everyone leaves with meaningful insights and tangible steps to continue their leadership journey with intention and purpose.
